A: LRHA uses in-house staff for all but very specialized services such as Wetland delineations and Architectural design. This allows us to control the process from Conceptual design, to field surveys through detailed Engineering design, to construction stakeout and through post construction record surveys.
Q: How are fees structured?
A: The fees for completing a project are negotiated depending upon the complexity of the design. Our hourly rates are competitive and provide us with a fair profit. We are very flexible with regard to our clients' needs and can customize almost any payment terms that are desired. We do expect to be paid within 30 days of the invoice date.
Q: How are projects managed within LRHA?
A: The company utilizes design teams that are led by an experienced project manager or a senior professional. Each team employs surveyors, engineers, technicians and administrative staff who all work closely together. The team approach allows for increased efficiency and focus. The project manager is the client's link to the design/permitting process.
Q: When does LRHA get involved in most projects?
A: We normally are involved at the very beginning of a job, many times even before a sales agreement is finalized. We actively participate with the clients team of professionals during the due diligence period, providing advice on many land use matters. Very often we are requested to prepare a technical feasibility analysis, along with sketches and other support data. This work can take one to four weeks to perform.
